It's Walmart.... it has what I need, when I need it, at a reasonable price and reasonable/mid quality. Plus, people watching. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Oh and they have a Subway now 😁... but Claire's is gone πŸ˜ͺ Bathrooms are never clean but the rest of the store seems to be.

I needed a place to sleep and resupply my camper. Heading down from Denali. I called ahead and asked if your allowed to park overnight. I was told that you need to come into the store and talk to the manager. I asked if it was likely because I wasn't giving to drive that far if I couldn't sleep there. The woman who answered the phone said that usually yes but the manager will ask questions. I drove all the way down. The customer service person said that they no longer allow overnight parking. Ugh! I feel like they were just trying to get me to come in and spend my money. Nope! I drove back 40 mins and will resupply tomorrow at a Walmart down in Anchorage. They clearly state no overnight parking. They don't lure you in.

Come here all the time because its the only Walmart in the valley. Has decent prices. None of the ladies' handicapped stalls are actually handicap accessable however. Have tried requesting help online through corporate. Have spoken with the store manager directly and waited several weeks to pass before giving up hope.. Real shame that one of the biggest corporations in the country somehow cant find the funds or the time to make sure their disabled customers are actually able to use facilities. Shelves are often too close together making it difficult for those in wheelchairs or walkers to navigate with ease. The bathroom stall locks as mentioned above are difficult for those with fine motor skill issues to use. Disappointed but not surprised. Lower staff is always kind and friendly. Only reason im not giving a 1 star right now.

I had a Walmart pick up and went into the Walmart app to let them know that I was on my way. I arrived at the parking lot, which was completely full and waited to pull into a space. I pulled into space number 17 and checked in with the color of my car. My check-in time was 6:23 PM. I waited and waited and waited. A guy came out with groceries and asked me for my pin number from the order and I gave it to him and he said oh I don’t have the right order and will be out in a little bit. I waited and waited and waited. The lady next to me got her groceries after pulling in after me and said I may want to call the store number and let them know you’ve been waiting for over an hour. I did that at least four times and no answer. A guy was delivering groceries to someone else’s car and I went over to him and I said it’s been well over an hour and I still don’t have my groceries and he said he would check into it next and bring them out. I waited another 15 minutes. I put in a call to the one 800 customer service and got a guy on the phone and he asked me all my information and he said he would check me in and I said I already did that at 6:23 PM. And he said he would do it again a

If I could leave zero stars I would. I went in today to return something and I waited in line. Once the person in front of me left I went up placed my bag on the counter and the lady very rudely says I can’t help you I’m going on break the other two can help you, so I grabbed my bag waited till they guy said I can help you. So I placed the bag on the counter and he said what’s this I said a return and he says rudely well I need it out of the bag so I said I guess I didn’t realize I needed to do your job then proceeded to tell me it was rude. They are extremely rude and lazy at this Walmart. From now on I will spend the extra gas and go to Eagle River where I’ve had better experience by far.
